A FlyWire v783 brain — 138,639 leaky integrate-and-fire neurons and 15,091,983 synapses — walks a NeuroMechFly body around an 80x80 mm MuJoCo room with four differently textured walls, two boxes, two pillars and a red target. The code splits into sensors, brain and actuators so the same brain can later steer a real drone: the actuator already assembles a MAVLink body-frame velocity packet and leaves it unsent. The brain is vendored unmodified from another repository, with an UPSTREAM.md saying so, and a separate control script runs the giant fiber with no visual input at all.
