About this site

Fly Brain Hub is an independent directory of projects built on the brain and nervous system of the fruit fly, Drosophila melanogaster. It covers connectome datasets, the simulations that run them, physics-simulated bodies, analysis tools, and the wave of "the fly brain can play X" demos that followed the September 2026 release of the MaleCNS connectome. Everything is browsable by category and searchable by name, tag or description.

Editorial policy

1. Only facts read from primary sources are listed. Each entry ends with the pages we actually read, under "Sources checked".
2. Descriptions are written in our own words. We do not paste README text, tweets, article copy or screenshots.
3. No data is redistributed. This site holds links and descriptions; datasets stay with their owners, and the license of each is shown on its entry.
4. Crypto projects are listed for information only. No endorsement, no referral links.

Who runs this

An independent developer based in Japan. The site is not affiliated with any of the labs, companies or developers listed. Corrections and new entries are welcome via the submission page or GitHub.
