Asks whether the wiring can hold an odour in mind: the MaleCNS graph as a steady-state rate model with a 16-unit GRU bolted on outside it, 110 odorants entered as measured receptor responses, tested on odours and receptor neurons it never trained on. It scores 0.724, and then reports that the comparison which would make this a finding about the wiring is void, because the shuffled and input-only arms never learned even on their own training data. An exploratory check is kept separate: cosine similarity on lateral horn output separates same from different at 0.947 against 0.514 shuffled.
