flybrain (dino)

A whole-brain FlyWire v783 network (138,639 neurons, 15.09 million connections, 54.49 million synapses) rewritten on numpy and scipy instead of Brian2, running one second of biological time per wall-clock second, closed in a loop with a fly body in a 2D arena and with the Chrome dinosaur game. The controls are the point: over six 20-second trials the sighted fly survived 17.9 s and cleared 6.5 cacti, finishing 5 of 6, while a uniform grey or silencing the R1-6 photoreceptors both dropped it to 2.85 s, no cacti, none finished.
