Two halves that support each other: a browser game in which a leaky integrate-and-fire network on the FlyWire connectome (139,255 neurons, 2,698,236 synapses) gates a fly's movement in a 2D sandbox, and a Chinese-language reference covering the timeline, the papers, the data platforms and the open-source stack behind the 2026 embodied whole-brain emulation story. The reference does the unglamorous work: it records the criticisms as well as the claims, fixes one neuron count that several Chinese outlets reported wrongly, and states which numbers it follows and why.
