A single question asked of a parent project and answered no. Replacing that project's hand-set P1 row with MaleCNS one-hop signed contact counts onto 88 pC1 cells removes the result that HD present and cVA absent was necessary and sufficient to gate courtship song. The extracted weights explain why: LC10a dominates at plus 606, the cVA path arrives at plus 62, the HD path at minus 3, and ppk23 does not contact P1 at one hop, so P1 would only cross zero at a weight far below what the map gives. Every condition still sings, across three seeds.
