Send a photograph to a Telegram bot and watch a fly react to it. The image passes through a retina, a spike wave travels across FlyWire release 783 — 138,639 identified neurons and 15,091,983 synaptic connections held as a sparse float32 matrix with the release's own cell-type, hemisphere and neurotransmitter annotations — and the motor response is streamed to both a web canvas running the connectome projection at 60 fps and back to the chat. Built on FastAPI and aiogram, tested by the author on a MacBook Air M1.
