Re-runs the author's own published energy-based world model with its coupling pattern fixed to mushroom body wiring: 343 projection neurons carry the 72 input features, 1,918 Kenyon cells with at least one projection input form the first hidden layer, and 49 output neurons the second. Only the existence of a connection is taken from the connectome; magnitudes are learned, and the directed graph is symmetrised to get an energy function. At one seed it matches the dense original on prediction and on one counterfactual parameter, and falls short on the other. The stated goal was that it runs.
