WATT THE FLY

Runs 38,178 neurons and 5,124,215 synapses of the Janelia FlyEM Male CNS v1.0 connectome - a visual-to-wing-motor cut of 89 cell types - as leaky integrate-and-fire units in a Web Worker, then turns the spike count in a 100 ms window into watts at 31.9 pJ per action potential to light a three.js bulb; calibrated, it draws about 6.5 uW. A table separates measured wiring from assumed synaptic sign and modelled constants, and a verify script re-checks the looming and dark-flash responses. No insect and no hardware: the bulb is a rendering. The page also carries an unfilled token-launch slot.
