FruitFly Tetris

A closed loop from the Tetris board through compound-eye photoreceptors, the MaleCNS spiking network and descending neurons back to a move, published with the finding that it does not work. Over 400-piece games the connectome agent clears zero lines and always tops out, while a Dellacherie baseline clears 156 and never does. It measures why: visual input raises photoreceptor firing about 20 percent but descending-neuron firing by 0.8 percent, because the tonic current and decay put the resting potential at 0.993 against a threshold of 1.0, so about 6 percent of cells fire on noise every tick.
