An OCR experiment that passes printed characters through a fixed MaleCNS circuit and learns a small decoder for the resulting activity. It includes native computation, Python tooling and a research report with baseline comparisons. Conventional classifiers outperform the fly model in reported comparisons, so the work should not be described as proving an advantage of biological wiring.
