Fly Touhou (果蝇玩东方)

A MaleCNS v1.0 circuit dodges bullet-hell patterns ported from Touhou 6: eight named visual channels, a frozen reservoir of measured synapses, sixteen descending neurons and a 320-parameter readout evolved by the cross-entropy method, the only trainable part. Ablating the circuit collapses play to a motionless baseline. The negative results are the real contribution: 80 to 600 neurons bought nothing, widening vision from 8 to 32 channels cost 26.2%, Hebbian plasticity flipped sign with the seed, denser wiring hurt, and against a rewired control the gap was -12 frames, p = 0.9351.
